Stamp into paint and then stamp onto some paper. I like to use black cardstock for this one because the colors really pop 🤩 Kids can then paint different egg designs inside! FLOATING BUTTERFLY 🦋😮 This simple science experiment is so amazingly cool! 😎 Follow me @bestideasforkids for more fun activities for kids! 🦋 I love that you only need a few things to do it too. This science experiment is from our friends book, Super Simple Science Experiments for Curious Kids by @raisingdragons. We did a leaf and ghost also but the butterfly may be my favorite. 🦋 Here’s what you need: - Paper clip - String - Tissue paper - Tape - butterfly template (on my site search butterfly template on thebestideasforkids.com) - Magnet wand 🧲 ** your magnet must be strong enough and we found magnet wands are typically strong enough for it to work. How to do it: Tie the string around the paper clip and then glue inside the tissue paper butterfly. Tape the string to the table and then use a magnet 🧲 to make your butterfly float! Tip: the trick is you need to slowly move the magnet away from the butterfly when you’re starting to get it to float. See how far you can move it away before it drops! PAPER ROLL BUNNY STAMPS 🐰 Follow me @bestideasforkids for more fun crafts for kids. Here’s a fun way to make bunny prints with a paper roll ♻️ 🐰 How to: Cut off two strips from an extra paper roll or use a paper towel roll. Glue to the top to make bunny ears. Stamp the paper roll into paint and then stamp on your paper. When making the stamp you need to make sure the end is flush so the ears and the circle part of the paper roll will all touch the paper. If the ears are glued a bit too high they won’t stamp on the paper. You may need to stamp twice to get the full print. Have kids decorate the bunnies with paint, markers, googly eyes and pom poms.
