guys stop he's shy :(   _ The Vice Chair of the US Federal Reserve, Michael Barr, tried giving a speech at Columbia Law school. We showed up to ask him a question we've also asked his boss. He refused to answer. So we asked again, and again, and again. Still nada. He just fled the room.  Our country's central bank is complicit in the cruelest of ironies. They are developing a framework for businesses that have exposure to financial risk from worsening climate change, and yet have NO regulating policy for the industry that causes climate change: big oil and gas.  If we can get the Fed to recognize that fossil fuels themselves threaten the economy (by causing climate change), then maybe we can finally turn this ship around. __ #climatechange #climate #finance #fossilfuels #globalwarming #politics #columbia #nyc
