I’ve been “lost” in Thailand for almost exactly a month now, which feels crazy to say. Crazy to think all the decisions I’ve made have led me to this point, considering I could have just ended up working a 9 to 5 out of college living in NYC like I had originally planned. Instead, I’m lost in Thailand running 2 online businesses full-time. Yet I feel lost? I’ve been freestyling this entire trip and there’s times when I feel more lost than I ever have in my life. Sure, I have direction and purpose to a degree when it comes to work, but even that can be too unstructured at times. Living with the everyday chaos and colors that nomading around is something else on its own. There are obviously days when “feeling lost” can be overwhelming, but I’ve always wondered why my instinct is to escape that very feeling. It’s almost like that’s all we were doing when we were kids — getting lost, escaping, hiding. To then go seek. (sorry if this is too deep for anyone who started following me for my thirst traps in 2020 hahaha)
