Creative blocks are one of the strongest pains you can experience as an artist. There was a time when I used to think it would never happen to me, because I always have a lot of ideas. If I ever lacked them, I would go through my notebooks. But creative block is not a lack of ideas, it often shows up as an inability to carry them out, to finish what you start, to feel satisfied with what you do. As an artist I have experienced the end of the world so many times, you never get used to it. Sometimes it lasts too long and sometimes it only lasts a few days. It becomes personal, because being an artist is more than a job. That's the most painful thing. But what I've learned from being at the bottom of the pit is that up there is still light. An artist always finds the most ingenious way out to see what's beyond. If you are going through this give yourself time. Rest and live. Out here we will still be waiting for you to tell us about what you saw down there. #cinematography #creativeblock
