This is actually disgusting to see another beloved dolphin trapped and killed in the #sharknets ( that don’t stop sharks by the way ) as you’ll see in this clip there are huge gaps each side. Not to mention the sharks can go under and over. I’ve definitely noticed the marine life diminishing here at Bondi in the last 6 years and I’m sick of only capturing animals either hooked on the #drumlines or killed in the nets. The nets are due to come down for the winter period in 2 weeks. It would be great if they never returned. . How safe do you feel swimmers , surfers and all beach goers knowing that there are dead animals trapped in the nets which potentially can attract big sharks to our shores ? . #deaddolphin #bondi #netsoutnow

The day we named Newman the #greynurseshark back in 2019 . We used to inform surfers about grey nurse sharks when we first started. Now we let them swim around and do their own thing. I still keep my eye on these grey nurse, just in case there’s any out of character behaviours, but I must say I have not witnessed any in 5years . #hellonewman #shark #bondi #australianaccent
