Tips you need for when you’re traveling and feeling homesick 🫶 I know I can’t be the only one who’s experienced this. Honestly I wouldn’t even call it 🏠 home sickness 🏠 for me it’s more of missing my comfort zone. 😅 As someone who has pretty much hopped around their whole life, I don’t really have anywhere that necessarily feels like home, but when traveling, I do miss the comfort of a familiar bed with familiarities. 🌺 These 2 things have calmed me down so much when traveling and they might seem so simple, but they really work. One night during your travels, have a chill night in and put on a show that you love on your phone, tv, or computer. What ever you have access too. This has brought me so much familiarity when traveling so far from home and made me feel safe especially my first few times traveling when I felt overwhelmed. 👌🏾✈️ Next, FaceTime one of your best friends! This has also reminded me, hey I might be far from everything, but I’m not actually alone 🩵 But this mindset is something that really resides with me. Like home is not one place, it’s a feeling.
