Fun fact: we are a two mom family that created a family through ivf. We matched our donor to me, thinking my wife would carry all of our kids. I didn’t want to go through the ivf process - it’s pretty rough. However, I let my doc and friends convince me to have one of our babies be biologically mine. Then my wife’s scary birth of our twins convinced me to even carry it. So we ended up with a baby that was biological to me and also genetically matched to me. Talk about a true mini me!
