Back pain that won’t quit? ✅SAVE FOR LATER ⭐️And comment “START” to book your free call if you want some direction and support. 💧when it comes to pain there are usually two dominate pieces of advice…. ▶️“POWER THROUGH IT” Or ▶️“REST IT” 💧As a clinician working with people in pain everyday, it’s less about one or the other, and more about finding ways to navigate pain… Let me explain, does this cycle sound familiar?: 1️⃣your pain flares up with an activity 2️⃣you take a break from that activity 3️⃣you go back to that activity without adjusting any variables 4️⃣the flare up happens again 5️⃣the cycle continues 💧Instead of stopping the activity that causes pain, find similar ways to move that ARE NOT recreating the pain stimulus to build capacity back up. 💧Sometimes it’s less about the actual “rehab”exercise you do, and more about HOW you do it. 💧A lot of videos on social media (much like this one) show sometime them mention it helping with back pain relief - maybe it’s a core exercise or a mobility exercise…at the end of the day it’s less about the actual exercise and more about finding something that is tolerable to do that you can scale up from. (And that is going to depend on the person) 💧I get that this might be frustrating but think about it, if there was 1 (or even 5) foolproof exercises that “melted away your back pain”, then 80% of the world probably would NOT be suffering with back pain. 💧 can movement be medicine!
