What’s your greatest fear? 👀 ••• It’s Day 13 of my 22-Day Printmaking Challenge, and I think the 13 is fitting for today. ✨ I started off with great intentions and in pretty great spirits with this one. I absolutely love this design — I had a great time sketching it up and I felt super excited to get it on the block and get carving. But things seemed to unravel pretty quickly once I got going. 🫣 I hit so many road blocks today, and I even ended up re-carving a large portion of this one after starting it on another block and checking the footage. I tested out a few new filming setups today and I was unhappy with how everything was looking — and even now with this final product I’m still pretty bummed. 😞 After a quick pity party, I decided to share this one mostly as a reminder to myself that sometimes it just won’t all line up, and that’s ok too. 🌧️ Lessons were learned, and I’ll be able to avoid these same mistakes in the future.
