History of Black Palestine 🇵🇸 || Sardine ma’ Daggit Bandora This video was inspired by a heartbreaking video I saw of a Palestinian family mourning their child. I clicked the comments, and there were more people shocked to see that there were black people in Palestine. It made me feel like I wanted to create something that helps inform others towards the ancient diversity of Palestine, but also tie it to contemporary justice today. Hopefully inviting others to see how Palestine is linked to their own sense of justice. My kuffiyeh scarf is from @sarahmusa 100% of profits go to Gaza. I really didn’t want to cook ANOTHER maqloubeh online, but really wanted to show how diverse deep and delicious Palestinian cuisine can be beyond the well known dishes.
