Let’s talk about it ⤵️ Starting with the bottom: Ozempic ✨ - if you aren’t building habits to keep the weight loss off, don’t waste your money. This isn’t teaching you how to keep weight off, it’s literally curbing your appetite. Once you stop injections, let me know how you keep the weight off 🤝🏼 Pilates - This is the tiktok craze! Lifting weights = bulky and Pilates = weight loss & times arms! False. Listen, Pilates alone isn’t going to make you lose weight. It can be a great addition to your weight lifting regimen but fat loss comes from what you eat, not a low impact workout. Keto - If you’re new here, welcome! I have disliked this form of diet for YEARS. This goes along with ozempic. You can’t cut out carbs for the rest of your life, once you lose the weight and go back to eating normally.. most people will gain it back unless they are properly educated. Will it work? Yeah keto works since it is putting you into a caloric deficit by removing an entire macronutrient. Intuitive eating - I currently have two clients that are only intuitively eating and not tracking calories. They are making AMAZING progress. One client has had to buy basically a whole new wardrobe due to how much fat she’s lost! BUT if you have no idea portion sizes (have never tracked before) this can be tricky. Not impossible butttt more difficult! Fasting - Listen I don’t hate this one NOR do I love it. It’s just there. Fasted cardio has some benefits but fasting for more than 16 hours is just dumb imo. You don’t burn 9273 more calories because you fasted for 38 hours. Caloric deficit + weights - the elite combo 🤝🏼🎉 if you want to lose fat, you MUST be in a deficit. If you aren’t losing weight, you aren’t in a deficit. Take the time to learn about calories/macros and figure out what your body likes. Weight training is a great addition. You are building muscle mass that is going to aid in your metabolism. Aka the more muscle you have, the more you can eat and not gain weight. It also helps with body recomp! Overall, do what works FOR you & just know the side effects/how to keep the weight off after your diet. :) 1:1 coaching spots are open! Link in my bio!
