Here’s how we finished this reveal ceiling. 😊 We chose to use @Trim-Tex Drywall tearaway L bead as the inside of the reveal was unfinished and didn’t allow us to install a regular bead. 👌🏻 First, apply trim-tex’s 847c Spray adhesive to the back end of the bead, as well as the wall you will be applying it to. Use staples for extra durability. Then, apply mud, and wipe away any excess, while making sure you keep the edge of your knife on the raised part of the tear-away. (we find that a 6 » knife is perfect for this) Repeat this step after a rough sand, for the finish coat. Lastly, rip off the leg, and sand for a smooth, flawless finish ! #trimtex #trimtexdrywall
