Given the choice to travel full time is a simple choice almost anyone would make given the opportunity, right? Well, if you think it was done without fear, you’re wrong. Every single decision we’ve made leading up to this point has been FILLED with fear. From the day we put our house on the market, there’s always been doubt and hesitation in the back of our heads. What if something goes wrong and we can’t go back? What if we hate it? (I know, but that thought has always been there). What if our kids hate it? What if we regret it? Then what? Every step of our journey was filled with those thoughts. But every time we make one of those scary choices and come out on the other side proud of ourselves, the growth is tremendous. We aren’t the same people we were when we started this journey. Yes, this life looks amazing to so many people looking in from the outside. But it’s not without tons of hard work and believe it or not, sacrifice. But what we realize at the end of each difficult choice we make, is that the easy choices wouldn’t have brought us here. Would the easy choices have been more comfortable? Sure. But the view from the mountaintop (literally and figuratively) is way more rewarding than the view from the bottom of the hill.
