What I have loved most about the Ladies of Madison Ave. is that although I have met each woman initially on Madison Ave because of what they were wearing. I have been able to learn a bit more about their lives, their passions, and the organizations they support. Sharon Jacob who is on the Board of Trustees invited me to the New York Academy of Art’s @NYAA Tribeca Ball and she was so thrilled to introduce me to the students. Running up and down five flights of stairs in order to see all of the students work in her white sequined sheath and turquoise pumps Mrs. Jacob always gives you glamour. I loved her slicked down hair, a good tip to change the attitude of a dress. Added jewels don’t hurt either. Mrs. Jacob told me she only paid $39 for the dress. It was purchased from The Fashion Foundation, @the fashion foundation a nonprofit that recycles fashion to help kids in need.
