Just a reminder that women’s sizing sucks - NOT your body. I ordered eight pairs of jeans last week - All from the same brand. All in the same size. They all fit differently. I found a pair I love. But I also tried on pairs I couldn’t close. And others that slid right off my hips. Which all got me thinking about how, so often, We start picking ourselves apart Based on the number our pants say. But it’s silly. Because women’s sizing doesn’t make sense. And clothes are meant to fit our bodies Not the other way around. Just like we’d never judge our feet For not fitting a pair of shoes, We should hold the same grace When it comes to our physical shape. Be kind to yourself. Wear what makes you feel good. And my gosh, Don’t let stupid sizing get you down. x Fits all @hm - I’ll link in stories. Styling by @ria.e.stylist #sizing #bodypositivity #bopofashion #selflove

I wish I was making this up - the ‘men commenting on women’s bodies’ thing. But it’s one of the DMs I get the most: ‘My husband told me I’d be perfect if it was just my face on another body.’ ‘My partner likes to grab my thighs and make moo sounds.’ ‘My husband said my body was disgusting after baby.’ And on. And on. And on. And I get it; I’ve been in relationships before with men that broke me down, that picked apart my body and focused on so-called flaws. It became a dangerous spiral where I believed them, Because I loved them. So I felt worse about myself. And believed them even more. If this sounds familiar, I just want to say: I am so sorry. You deserve better. It may feel impossible to imagine, But you are worth a love that lifts you up. And it’s out there for you, But by holding on to what’s wrong for you, You block the possibility of what could be so right: A love that makes you feel more, Not less. And a love that reminds you You can wear shorts. You can wear bikinis. You can be whoever you want to be - In exactly the body you have right now. x #womensbestbassador #selflove #bodypositivity -
