I don’t know why this was ever a thing but countless times I saw influencers telling people that “if you want to grow your glutes your going to have to get a little belly too” what they were really suggesting is to bulk up, but they didn’t say it like that so it genuinely caused people to think that you can’t have one without the other. And another myth is you don’t have to be on a bulb to gain muscle you don’t have to be on a bulk to grow any muscle, including your glutes. Throughout my fitness journey, I did go on a lean bulb, but was still able to keep a flat stomach through stomach vacuums, and not allowing myself to gain more weight than I needed to. But majority of my fitness journey has been around the same body fat percentage. You don’t need to bulk to build muscle, even though it can be beneficial.
