I’m growing increasingly disenchanted with social media. These days, browsing these apps fails to ignite any sense of inspiration within me. It feels like everyone is just following the same formula, striving desperately to achieve viral status. Recently, I’ve found myself muting many of what are considered “your favorite influencers,” as so many seem to have lost touch with reality. I yearn for the days when people shared genuine, heartfelt content that left you feeling inspired and motivated. Authenticity is becoming scarcer than ever.In truth, we’re all silently battling our own demons, struggles that often go unnoticed. This is why I make it a point to always keep it real with my friends here. I’m more than just someone posting “fashion content.” It warms my heart to receive messages and emails from you all, sharing how I’ve inspired you to prioritize therapy, take your mental health seriously, and be more open about your own grief journeys. These messages mean the world to me. But lately, I find myself at a loss creatively. My well of inspiration feels dry. I wonder if any of you are experiencing the same sentiments, or if it’s just me. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this matter.
