I used to think feeling was a burden. I used to think there was something wrong with me for being so upset by things that seemed to be so confusing and wrong in my child and teenage eyes. I was constantly called sensitive, dramatic and told I "needed help" by the very people who were avoiding their own pain. The people who were also hurt in similar ways to me and projecting. One day I realized I had enough of feeling bad and guilty all the time, I knew that if I could feel everything bad so much, then I could feel everything good so much too. So this is your reminder to feel it and heal it. I'm not saying everyday is good and I'm still very much on a healing journey, but if you can feel the weight of the whole world while you're crying yourself to sleep, then you can feel the lightness of the world too while you're falling in love, singing loudly and dancing at a concert or the peace that overwhelms you when you stand under a waterfall or jump in the river.
