I'm fully aware my new hobby will probably only last a few months (if I'm lucky), but it turns out I love painting, even if it looks like a child has made it 👩‍🎨 Anywho, I've looked into the econess (is that a word?!) and am wondering how I can make bright coloured art in the most planet friendly way? 🌎 After much googling, I've come up with this, but I'm asking for more ideas, please - Oil over acrylics (I can use walnut oil to clean brushes). 2nd hand synthetic brushes (is that a good idea?) Use titanium white over lead white Now, canvas? Which is the best to use? I was thinking of buying 2nd hand paintings/canvas art from charity shops and painting over it? Or is that disrespectful? I guess if it's just printed, it's ok? Any advice from eco-friendly artists, please?
