Hi Friends! It’s been a bit weird over here. Many of you know we have found a property to lease and I am ECSTATIC (to say the LEAST!) Making a move into a home that’s been vacant for almost a decade definitely has shown to be challenging, BUT, this opportunity Is truly a once in a lifetime thang and we could use your help! Tomorrow my dad and I are going to get started with installing about 150’ of fencing.. yes. 1️⃣5️⃣0️⃣🦶🏼.. and this is just the beginning! We are using a TON of recycled material to keep costs down and I am hoping to raise enough to at least cover a day, possibly two, of renting a trencher as well as fencing supplies (praying we can raise $300-$400 for the fence project!) It’s taken over TWO years for me to recover from the mistakes I made early on, and it’s been HARD. really. Forkin. HARD. BUT, I didn’t give up. I have this community to thank for that. You have believed in me more than I have believed in myself, you’ve made this incredibly hard, lonely journey, worth it. Lots of reflection, lots of heartbreak, LOTS of boundaries, lots of practice with different therapy techniques and understanding the importance of maintaining/understanding/honoring my mental health. I couldn’t be more thankful to have all of you standing next to the crew and I 🙏🏼 thank YOU for being here, supporting my health and allowing me the opportunity to be in the hard world of animal rescue.
