A little bit of Wyatt's journey. After losing our first two littles early in pregnancy, we got pregnant with Wyatt. At 17 weeks, it was discovered my body couldn't hold the pregnancy, and I had a cervical cerclage. They said it was a "Hail Mary" procedure and gave us a 30% chance of making it to viability. We made it to 30 weeks, which was deemed a success, and Wyatt didn't want to wait any longer. He was born in a very dramatic delivery via emergency c-section where i was sedated. I didnt hear his first cry, and didnt meet him until 12 hours later. He was 3 pounds and made it known he was a fighter. He fought so hard to survive, and after a month in the nicu we came home. Two months later he stopped breathing and I did CPR on him saving his life. After that he thrived and grew into a happy and healthy toddler. At 1 1/2 we noticed he wasnt meeting milestones and started the journey to an Autism diagnosis which is a whole other story. it was long and difficult, and took over a year. He goes to therapy services and two preschools and is making amazing progress. I just wrote and published a book on amazon based on him and his stimming. I just want to spread awareness, acceptance, and kindness towards those who are different but not less.
