As a pregnancy registered dietitian, this is something that I think everyone could benefit from doing before actually becoming pregnant... During pregnancy, a lot of changes occur. Of course, there are body changes. There are also changes in hunger levels as well as food preferences. Even though these changes are expected, it doesn't mean that some people don't still struggle with these changes during pregnancy. However, during pregnancy you are not just feeding yourself, you are nourishing for two and proper nutrition is more important during pregnancy than EVER. That is why I think it is so important to work on both your relationship with food as well as body image before actually becoming pregnant.
