Chocolate can affect the look and taste of your cookie. Chocolate chips are made to hold their shape and not melt in the oven, so while they are delicious put are not guaranteed to have delicious chocolate in every bite. Chocolate Chunks are made from mostly cocoa beans vs sugar resulting in a lower melting temperature giving pools of chocolate in the cookie and on top. My personal favourite! Chocolate feves are a posh chocolate, a fève is a French word that means ‘bean’ feve also refers to the flat, wide disks of chocolate. They’re supposed to melt and leave pools of chocolate however that didn’t work for me!
