For now, Yolandi is an IMHA survivor. IMHA is a life threatening condition where a dog’s own immune system attacks red blood cells causing severe anemia. (Not to be associated with anemia from a lack of iron) IMHA has a very high mortality rate and the possibility of relapse is always there.
