Restored footage from 1897 of firefighters in Belfast performing a rescue exercise to demonstrate how they prepare and then climb a ladder. This footage was filmed by pioneering French filmmaker Alexandre Promio, who worked for the Lumière brothers assigned to market and present motion pictures worldwide.
