#greenscreen I am not a content creator who showed up here to be a content creator. Our following has happened by accident & we are so grateful for the love experienced here. I am not a content creator who whines about engagement. I do not feel entitled to your views or likes. Everything that happens here is an unexpected joy. I am not a content creator who posts even though I don’t want to in order to boost visibility. We have thick real lives that keep us really busy & I create with a minor. I try to be careful and thoughtful about that. I am not a content creator who has done a very good job of monetizing this account. I am not part of any creator fund & I don’t try to sell y’all things on TT shop. (I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that— I just don’t know how, don’t feel like I have time, & fear it would chnage a dynamic bwtween us.) (We have done the occasional ad but those are dwindling.) BUT. I *am a creator who expects to be taken care of when community guidelines are violated. About every 3 months on this app an account will pop up with a name too close to ours to notice the difference, they will steal our content and build a pretty sizable following. I will alert tiktok and they will ignore me. I will ask to be verified and they will deny me even though we easily meet all of the requirements. Every other platform swiftly gets rid of these people even though I don’t even have a (respectively) large following there. (By the way: I’d love if you followed other places! I share way more everywhere else. And apparently Congress can get its ish in a pile long enough to agree on doing away with this app ((nevermind about finding two people worthy of leadership to run for President. 🙄)) If this app disappears, I have not hustled hard enough to keep the love going anywhere else and I’m now so sad about that.)
