I can’t believe it’s been 4 months since I’ve given birth… things looks SO different than what I was expecting postpartum If im being honest, I was expecting my postpartum fitness journey to be so much easier than this Which sounds absolutely crazy & straight delulu now I had been training for almost 9 years CONSISTENTLY when I got pregnant and I trained my entire pregnancy.. so I was anticipating all of that to really help me as I got back into the swing of things The DISAPLINE was there.. I knew it was going to be an uphill battle.. I didn’t expect to bounce back.. I had the muscle memory from all those years .. I KNEW I would have to build a lot of lost muscle mass back.. Not only did PPD and PPA come in and hit me pretty fking hard But this was the first time I had taken 100% off of training for an extended period of time since my day oneee back in 2015 I went from training 3-5x a week for years, to being forced to take 6-8 weeks off completely & I don’t think a lot of women (especially those who have been training prior) really anticipate how difficult it is to find that discipline again Ive been following one of my prior app challenges for a bit now & im lovvviing it!
