It feels weird sharing this but the reality is my first queer relationship was very significant and held so many milestones. I have a really tender place in my heart for that time and that person. Time has passed and ive moved (literally) on to a complete different version of life physically, emotionally and spiritually…BUT finding these objects that have such a connection to my past really stopped me in my tracks. Its okay to be effected by previous loves and experiences - its actually beautiful and I think we should fear being uneffected by it more so! But acknowledging that its time to let something go feels empowering especially when you can physically see it. Anyway, that’s my journey so far - maybe its relatable to some! 💕🌈
