Making Purah's shoes. Let's talk about the shoes - purah's shoes definitely don't have the strap around the ankle. For the longest time I tried to figure out if I could make the shoes without it, but i just knew that i wanted to make sure I could spend a whole con day walking in them without worrying about twisting an ankle. So I opted for these shoes where I spliced together different parts of the straps. I also decided to keep one of the straps the way they are, which meant the strap was wider on one end. I was just terrified that the shoe would eventually break on me if I cut any more straps so I just kept it how it is. Maybe one day ill find a better base to modify. I added eva foam overtop and then spray painted everything. Technically, I do have footage of me dyeing my tights (they were originally just white) but I don't have enough to make a video.
