If I were dancing in the desert at @coachella I’d want to be drinking this, TEQUILA MOCKINGBIRD Think of this as your new favorite spicy margarita! this recipe is actually a slight riff from @seiderhouse & let me tell you both SLAP Here’s how to make it at home 2 oz watermelon juice, fresh is best (can also sub for any melon) 2 oz tequila, or mezcal 3/4 oz lime juice 3/4 oz agave syrup 1-2 jalapeño slices 1-2 basil leaves Add to a cocktail shaker and shake with ice. This is such a necessary cocktail revival - it’s so delicious and balanced and the perfect way to dust off your green chartreuse and sip on a chartreuse cocktail again! Here’s how to make this at home: 2 ounces cognac 3/4 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed 1/2 ounce Green Chartreuse 1/2 ounce simple syrup 2 dashes Angostura bitters Garnish: lemon twist Add to a cocktail shaker and shake.
