🐶 Amigo came under the care of our PASS program through Dogs Matter when his owner needed to seek out treatment. It meant the world to Amigo’s owner that he had a place to stay. ❤️ Dogs Matter is our partnering organization that helps secure temporary fosters for dogs while their owners are seeking treatment for substance abuse. With the support of our PASS program and Dogs Matter, our team secured Amigo a spot at the BARK Dorm with the Texas Juvenile Justice Department. The BARK Dorm, serves as a sanctuary for dogs in need and contributes to the journey of young boys endeavoring towards positive transformations at Gainesville State School. Amigo, a lively 4-year-old with a penchant for squeaky toys and affection, thrived under the care of the youth at TJJD, allowing his owner to focus wholeheartedly on her recovery journey. 💕 Now, after their respective journeys, Amigo and his owner have been joyfully reunited, showcasing the powerful bond we share with our pets.
