Here are two naturally spherical stones that we found! One was in a loose shale slab after falling from the cliff onto the beach, the other was completely loose and had broken free naturally from its surrounding shale… Once extracted we opened them up with our hammer 🏝🌊 The first nodule was completely empty! Inside the second nodule, some stunning eleganticeras ammonites from the Jurassic 😍🦑 These ammonites are around 185 Million Years Old and looked a little like fossil squid!
