We are a couple building a house all on our own. We have NO building experience and have learned every trade that it takes to build a house. Finally, we are closing in on getting our house ready for our temporary certificate of occupancy. To get this certificate of occupancy, we have to have ALL of the walls and ceilings covered in our house. We started covering our walls and ceilings with shiplap & tongue and groove boards in June of 2023, and FINALLY, we are DONE with this massive undertaking.
