My fig tree 💕 Slyvia Plaths writing really influenced me and opened my eyes to the world of female writers who could and did express all of the rage and beauty that being a woman is. Her rawness and deep sadness over how the world wasn’t a place for her and other women to live happily and grasp all of the figs that she wanted and needed resonated so deeply with me as a young English literature student.
