READ DESCRIPTION FOR STORY!! ——————————————— Kailu and his party happen upon a village on the outskirts of the towns and cities, and they are in need of a healer. The cleric and paladin have spent all their spell slots during a particularly difficult dungeon raid, and the druid ran out of herbs to treat wounds, so they’re unable to heal the fighter’s wounds and injuries. They ask for a healer to patch up the fighter, and the village doctor shows up right when they ask the villagers for one. Kailu immediately gets suspicious about this doctor, but the rest of the party somehow does not. The hooded cloak and mask over his face screamed suspicious to Kailu. The doctor handed the fighter a bottle and said it was an herbal tonic that would make them feel better. The fighter downed it without a second thought. It tasted acrid and bitter, but the figher thought it was the typical taste of herbal tonics. The next day after a long rest, the fighter felt very ill and had no appetite. High fever, sweating, shortness of breath, and coughing blood - those were not normal symptoms after drinking a healing tonic. Once Kailu’s party started realizing that their fighter was looking worse for wear after ingesting that tonic the doctor made, it confirmed his suspicions about the doctor upon their arrival. This “doctor” is an evil necromancer, and he’s been using poisonous plants to create toxic tonics that slowly brought sick or injured people closer to death’s door with each dose - masquerading them as natural remedies that could heal any ailment they had.
