Do NOT try this at home 🤣 👉Colour formulas are not universal and will results WILL vary from head to head. Alas, this is how I achieve my color on my level 5 fine/medium curly hair. If you’re wanting something SIMILAR, and you’ve never coloured your hair before, talk to your stylist about using colour(hi-lift), not bleach, to lighten your hair for sun-kissed results on natural levels 5 and up with a base break. This will reduce contrast between the highlights for a natural blend that shimmers in the light. 🎥Longer form video is on my YouTube channel! 📝NOTE: This colour — while it looks natural — his high maintenance. I cannot let my roots grow longer than this before a touch up before I risk banding/a hot root the next time I do it — all because I am lightening my base lighter than my natural hair. 👀Consider that before wanting to change your hair! Replying to @Mare Dry detangling — taboo, or better for you? Fact: wet hair is more fragile. Therefore, it is better to detangle when your hair is dry, but the exception is for curly hair. 👉Curly hair can experience more damage brushing when it’s dry because of the amount of friction and force to detangle. Therefore, detangling curly hair when it is soaked in conditioner is easier, more gentle, and less damaging. In any case, the hair should be lubricated before brushing wet OR dry, and should be done gently from ends to roots. Both techniques are fine with the right care to the hair!
