On this day 112 years ago, Titanic sank in the Atlantic Ocean. On the morning of April 15th, 1912 Titanic slipped beneath the water claiming 1500 lives. Passengers desperately awaited rescue which would come a few hours later thanks to the RMS Carpathia. After picking up all survivors floating in the lifeboats, Carpathia set a course for New York City, Titanic’s intended destination. #titanic #titanicsinking
