Sad hamster? 🐹 More like mad hamster 😭 Okay but why is she still so cute when she’s upset 🥹 Hamsters are very territorial and don’t have great eyesight, so they rely a lot on scent marking to know where their stuff is. We deep clean the cage about 1-2x a month by digging through her burrow and taking out soiled bedding and replacing with new bedding. We leave the old, clean bedding so she can still have her scent there, but she was still upset after the clean. Luckily Ethan came after and fixed up her cage further by making it neater and she seemed okay after :) i guess she wanted her things back in an exact spot. I don’t usually do the deep cleaning since I don’t live here permanently yet, but luckily her dad knew what to do to make her happier!
