This section of pregnancy has been a challenging one for me. I don’t like the way my body looks/feels but I can’t yet feel my son moving around, so the fact that my body is changing BECAUSE he is healthily developing hasn’t fully connected in my brain. What a beautiful thing that some women feel their strongest when pregnant and love the experience, but that hasn’t been my journey…and doesn’t have to be! I have had to let go of a number of expectations as well as accept that I have no reason to feel guilty about the experience I’m having. It doesn’t make me any less grateful for my body, the miracle God has designed it to perform, or my growing little one! Whatever season you’re in or new thing you’re experiencing, if you’re struggling with reality matching expectations, release the expectations! There’s no right or wrong way to be going through what you’re going through. #micahandsarah
