TW: CSA. Occasionally, a comment like this will live in my head for bit. Most fade away, but this one had me having full on conversations in my head for months as I came up with how this needed to be addressed. It's so incredibly harmful to still try to find blame for someone being gay, especially because we all go through that process until we eventually come up and just accept who we are. If only we could have this conversation based on real facts and civilly. This is where I landed for anyone who is either still blaming themselves or for those non-members of the LGBTQ+ community who can't accept the actual fact that some of us are just different.
