Our island building process! I had to do this sound again.. it’s so perfect for all of our DIYs 🤣 Kolter built the entire island himself! I showed him a photo of my “vision” and he built it perfectly! I absolutely love all of the drawers! We chose to do an all wood island! We wanted something that would be warm and timeless with an organic modern feel. We actually used stock drawers from Home Depot. We sanded the white paint off the fronts and added new wooden drawer fronts! Then we built Columns for the sides, added some detail work, and stained everything a nice warm tone! DIY tile shower. 🥴 I Had to use this sound again because it’s perfect for this video..🤣 Kolter did the entire shower renovation himself and he said it was one of the hardest home projects he has ever done. 🤣 It was a labor of love for sure! We had that small fiberglass shower with the linen closet beside it. We decided to combine the two spaces to have one big shower. He first ripped out the fiberglass shower and tore out the linen closet. Then he added water proofing on the walls. Then he added the tile on the floors and walls. He said this was the hardest part for him lol.. Then he added the faucet and shower head! And finished with big glass doors.♥️♥️ I wanted this space to have warm, organic modern, earthy vibes. I wanted creamy whites and green plants! When I picked my wall and floor tiles, I made sure to pick something with a warm tones because I didn’t want a stark white shower. I am in love with how this turned out. Kolter reached my “vision” completely.
