It’s ok to not take action when dealing with grief. We’re selling my family home and there were a handful of updates we could have done to the home to help make more money. The outside paint is peeling, the colors inside are bold and outdated, the bathroom needs to be updated and so do the floors…but just thinking about all those tasks felt so overwhelming we decided to literally do the bare minimum. We made a replica of a Gallery Glass project my mom made about 25 years ago. My mom passed mom about 3 years ago and now are in the process of selling my family home. We wanted to make something that would remind us of her and the home I grew up in. It came out great, but what I was most surprised about was how therapeutic the process of recreating something my mom made so many years later.
