If my man tells me to jump, I will jump. Here's why: Growing up in a traditional household to then coming to America, I can definitely see black and white on the difference of how people grew up with traditional household compared to non traditional. Seeing my dad lead the household while my mom supporting him, I really believe this structure is the reason as to why we had less arguments in the family, and us overcoming any major issues. But speaking from my own opinions, I believe that a man leading the household and sticking to gender roles will lead to more: 1. Time to spend with my children: (reluctant to let a stranger, like a nanny look after my children). 2. More time to take care of myself: (personal hobbies, pilates, etc.) 3. My man feeling secure in his position. It took a lot from me to write this since I know this is super controversial, but I thought of this idea when my man told me that I looked good in wearing my favorite sunglasses today.
