As Christian parents, we are the shepherds of our children and spiritually we are given a rod to lead them. The easy route is to “hit” them but what if we took the time to disciple them, pray over them, show them the way they should go with the rod, and lead them to the same love of God that has mercy on us daily, and use the same rod to beat every spiritual predator that wants to attack them.
