Get my free ebook in my BIO to grow an abundant garden on a budget and learn more cost saving gardening tips like this 👌🏼 Contrary to popular belief, cultivating a thriving garden doesn’t have to break the bank—it’s about embracing the journey and soaking in the wisdom it offers. I learned how to grow plants and save seeds. I learned about the importance of healthy soil to grow a thriving garden. I learned how to build things that benefit my lifestyle. BUT I didn’t learn how to do it just by my own failure, success, trial and error. There’s no need to reinvent the wheel or struggle needlessly when you have access to people around the world that have had so many successes. Find the people you believe to be genuine, that your trust and have proven themselves to be leaders in the space you wish to become better at. Learn from the successes and failures that have gotten them to the point that YOU find valuable. We are all living our own lives, creating our own experiences and will create value in different ways than everyone else. Build your own life, but study the successes and failures of others to create your own successes, faster. I am here to bring you along on my journey and show you what I have learned so you can be successful too. That’s why I wrote this ebook, to provide you with the experiences that I have found the most amount of success with to get your garden growing more abundantly with less.

I finally got a DEEP metal raised bed! Metal raised garden beds are an investment, but the difference between an investment and an expense is something that will give back in return. A lot of my success in the garden has come from raised garden beds solely due to the fact you can fill them full of the perfect soil to grow the best plants. You simply can’t do that in the ground in a short period of time. Believe me, I’ve tried, unless you have perfect sandy loam soil, which most of us don’t. I started out my garden with cinder blocks then moved to wooden raised beds made out of simple pine lumber and now I have a mixture of metal raised beds and cedar raised beds in my garden. I spent $80 building one of my original pine raised beds that lasted 4 years. I’d have to build these pine raised beds 5x or more to even compete with the longevity of metal raised beds. Knowing that I want to garden for the rest of my life it makes sense for me to invest in my longevity and not have to spend more money and time year after year reconstructing my garden. So to me it’s worth it. Now I can’t wait to get this raised bed filled and get some herbs, veggies and flowers planted for a garden right at our deck side. Read more about the cattle panel trellis👇🏼 & Follow me for More Gardening DIY Projects like this! The first question I always get is where do you get the cattle panel and how big are the panels? They are standard- 50” wide and 16’ long. They are big! I got mine specifically from Tractor Supply for $35 each which is super cheap for what this trellis is able to do! The second question is how to transport it. I went with a friend who has a truck and the employees were knowledgeable on how to load them into the truck bed. All you need to bring are some ratchet straps to anchor them down. If you don’t have a truck, ask a friend or rent one from Home Depot or Uhaul for $20 for 90mins. No excuses 😉 they are worth it! All said and done you can make the most durable, versatile and long lasting trellis that you can find for about $50 which is an absolute steal! In the past I have used them to grow Luffa, pole beans and winter squash and this year I’ll be using them to grow passion fruit, Luffa, winter squash, cantaloupe, pole beans and cucumber. I’m excited to see how they will work for such a wide variety of crops and have no doubt they will work perfectly 🤩
