Air Fryer Crispy ORANGE Chicken 🍊🐼 Air Fryer Alphabet - O is for Orange Chicken 😍 I remember eating Orange Chicken A LOT on a trip to Florida when I was a kid at somewhere called Panda Express - it’s stuck with me and now I make my own version in the air fryer, totally gluten-free of course 🧡 Ingredients: For the sauce: 2 tsp ginger paste ¼ tsp chilli flakes 60g brown sugar 100ml smooth orange juice 4 tbsp gluten-free soy sauce 4 tbsp rice wine vinegar 1 tbsp cornflour, mixed with 2 tbsp water For the rest: 1-2 eggs, beaten 2 chicken breasts ¼ tsp salt 100g cornflour 2 tsp sesame seeds Handful of spring onion greens, chopped Method: 1) Mix all the ingredients for the sauce together in a small bowl. Make sure you mix it thoroughly before using as otherwise the cornflour will sink to the bottom. 2) Chop the chicken into chunks then dip into the egg mixture followed by the cornflour (mixed with the salt). Dip back into the egg and then back into the flour for a second coating. 3) Lightly spray oil into the air fryer, place your coated chicken in, spray again and cook at 200C for 8-10 minutes. I turn half way through. 4) Heat up a wok then mix your sauce and pour it into the wok to heat and thicken. Keep stirring and it should thicken within a minute or two. 5) Add the crispy chicken into the sauce to coat and then finish with sesame seeds and spring onion greens on top.
