Ingredients: * 1 stick of butter * 1 onion, chopped * 4-5 cloves garlic, minced * 2 tbsp flour * 2 cups shredded carrots * 3-4 cups chopped broccoli * 2.5 cups chicken broth * 1 cup heavy cream * 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese * Seasoning: salt, pepper & garlic powder to taste Steps: 1. Melt butter in a large pot, then sauté onion and garlic until fragrant. 2. Stir in flour to create a roux. 3. Add carrots, broccoli, chicken broth, and seasonings. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes. 4. Stir in the heavy cream and cheddar cheese until melted and smooth. 5. Obviously there’s not an an exact equivalence between UV exposure on a plane and in a tanning bed due to varying factors. But, even with airplane windows filtering UV rays, spending an hour by a window can still expose you to UV levels similar to 20 minutes in a tanning bed! I always have SPF with me on flights and keep the window shades down.
