Herbarium Jars🌸 Preserve cherished memories and capture the essence of special moments using any jar with a cork or lid, dried, pressed flowers + plants and baby oil! Wedding, graduation, prom, even funeral flowers can be transformed into beautiful keepsakes with this technique. Create different sized displays in jars or containers and illuminate the petals and stems with sunlight. It’s magical! Enjoy your herbarium for up to a year or longer when sealed properly. I chose to make an extra large herbarium, but you can create all different sized displays using any type of jar or container that you can seal with cork or a lid. Directions- - Cut dried flowers to your desired length before inserting into your jar or bottle. Use MUST USE dried flowers. Any moisture will cause mold. Select florals from your own yard or make a keepsake with flowers that have dried from weddings, funerals or any special occasions. - Allow for some flowers and stems to vary in length, color and texture for a visually pleasing display. - Carefully add baby oil!! Be careful not to squeeze too hard or fast and have an accident like me! LOL I pressed a little too hard and ended up covered in oil! 🤣 - Use a wooden skewer to help position your florals before sealing. - TIP: if using a cork stopper, I recommend leaving a little bubble of air at the top or use a hot glue gun to cover the bottom of the cork as a barrier between the cork and the oil so it doesn’t absorb or sweep oil. #floraldiy #herbariumjar #herbarium #keepsake #floralcrafts

DIY Water Fountain Planter⛲️ brings beauty and tranquility to any outdoor space. For fans of English period dramas like Bridgerton, it's a charming way to evoke regency-era elegance. And for those longing for the elegance of an English garden, here's how to create your own slice of paradise! Materials: * Two different sized planters * Potting soil * Old plastic planter (for base) * Flowers or plants * Solar water fountain feature * Decorative stones or pebbles Steps: 1. Begin by filling the larger planter with soil, utilizing the upside-down plastic planter as a base to save on soil. 2. Position the smaller planter on top of the plastic base and plant flowers around the edge of the larger planter, echoing the lush and abundant gardens and topiaries of English estates. 3. Add stones and water to your smaller planter and set the solar fountain feature in the water. It comes with various nozzles to choose from depending on the pattern you prefer. 4. The water instantly will begin cycling through the fountain introducing an element of refined elegance and tranquility to your outdoor space much like an English garden retreat. 5. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the serene beauty of your DIY water fountain planter, perfect for anyone longing for the timeless charm of an English garden in their own backyard. #diywaterfountain #diy #waterfountainplanter #englishgarden #bridgertoninspired #outdoordecor
