miffy/nijntje cream puffs (inspired by pinterest)!! 🐇🤍 craquelin topping ingredients: - 3 1/2 tbsp softened unsalted butter - 6 1/2 tbsp flour - 4 tbsps sugar 1. beat softened butter with sugar 2. add flour, and mix until it forms a dough 3. transfer onto parchment paper and roll out into a flat layer 4. chill/freeze the cookie dough until cold 5. once chilled, cut circle rounds and return to freezer until it will be used choux pastry ingredients: - 4 tbsps unsalted butter - 1/2 cup water - 1/2 cup flour - 2 eggs 1. heat butter and water in a saucepan until the butter has melted 2. add flour to saucepan and mix until the flour forms a ball 3. cool flour mixture for a little before stirring in the two eggs, one at a time 4. once mixture is combined, transfer the choux batter to a pastry bag and pipe onto a baking sheet 5. add craquelin rounds on top of each piped choux 6. bake for 40 mins at 375°F 7. once the shells have cooled, fill with whipped cream (i used coconut cream and powdered sugar!) #cutebaking #baking #miffy #nijntje #miffyandfriends #creampuffs #chouxaucraquelin #dessert #baketok
