They will never truly understand everything that goes into what we do. They will never know how much we have to prospect a potential customer with so many no’s until we hear a yes. They will never understand the stress we go through finding trucks in a high volume area with a low volume capacity. They will never understand that we dont usually get a full nights sleep. We dont all just shut down at 5pm and pass it off to night dispatch. There are days we start working just as early as drivers and walk away from our computers in the same time frame they shut their truck off for their break. While you get cozy in your cabs, some of us have families to take care of and tiny mouths to feed. We are all out here doing what we love, and it comes with a lot of stress on both sides. So next time you want ro be some kind of keyboard warrier, some of us need paid so we can pay a therapist!
